What to do with the Halloween Candy

Well, now that the ghouls and goblins of Halloween have
all been hung up on the hangers, it’s time to do what you
must.
You know what I’m talking about.
Yup.
The candy.
It’s gotta go.
It used to be that cakes, cookies and candy were an
exclusive treat for special occasions.
But today, with the parade of processed non-foods invading
our homes in this ‘don’t have time’ society, sugar is in
95% of that non-food.
Yup. Because it tastes good. ‘Because they’ll love it.
So they’ll keep buying it and making us millïons of
dollars!’
‘They’ll get addicted and we’ll make billïons of
dollars!’
‘Add more sugar, you idiot!’
Sorry.
Did you know that sugar takes out of your body essential
minerals and B vitamins?
Essential, as in required, necessary and critical even.
Takes it right out.
You see, all sugar, whether it natural or refined,
requires B-complex vitamins, calcium and magnesium for
digestion. Complex carbs, such as fruits, vegetables and
starches contain enough of these nutrients to assist our
bodies in their own digestion. But simple refined sugars
(white, brown) and that poison found in anything in a box,
bag or can cannot assist our bodies.
Therefore your body must, instead, go after these
nutrients that it has in it already to digest this kind of
sugar.
B-complex is taken from the nervous system, and calcium is
robbed from the bones and teeth when these sugars are
consumed.
Over a period of time, here’s what sugar and the resulting
B-complex deficiency can do:
Weakness and fatigue, indigestion, poor appetite, craving
for more sweets, neuralgia and neuritis, muscle soreness,
headaches, insomnia, dizziness, nervousness, instability,
forgetfulness, vague fears, rage, depression, anxiety…
Dump the candy.
Sugar also messes up your immune system.
It weakens your white blood cells. White blood cells eat
up foreign invaders. They seek out cancerous cells. They
keep you healthy.
But when sugar is eaten, your immune system is weakened.
Pie, cake, cookies, soda, donuts, cereals.
Just look at the labels: sugar, brown sugar, turbinado
sugar, corn syrup, aspartame, sucrose, glucose/dextrose,
Sorbitol, Mannitol, Zylitol, unrefined cane juice,
crystalline fructose…
ADHD in a box.
Cancer in a box.
Diabetes in a box.
Arthritis in a box.
Obesity in a box.
Dump the candy.
But Mike, what will I eat?
Again, pick up your own copies of ‘The Okinawan Program’
and ‘The Okinawan Diet Plan.’ If you want to add years to
your life and life to your years, eat the way the
healthiest, oldest living people do and you will get the
same results. You’ll be trim, strong and you won’t get
sick very often. And toss the coral calcium supplements.
They don’t take it. That’s a marketing ploy. But they do
eat just as much food as tubby, ugly, sick people do. Just
as much food in weight. Ah yes, grasshopper, they just eat
‘different’ foods that don’t make you fat and ugly.
Get them and read them and change your dïët. You have
time for TV? Shut it off and read this instead. Got time
to read magazines? Read this instead. News? It’s all bad
- it creates anxiety and depression. I couldn’t tell you a
tiny fraction of what our politicians have done in the last
month. Because it has no importance on my life and yours.
But Snickers bars, now there is something that will kïll
you. That’s more important than Britney’s baby pictures.
So toss the candy in the garbage. Or most of it, at least.
Tell Junior and Judy it’s because you love them.
If it’s around, it will get eaten.
And don’t give it to someone else. Not unless you don’t
like them.
Dump it. It’s poison.
